Scope
The aim of this study was to investigate the energy performance and water usage of aquatic centres. The research objectives are listed below:
1. Develop a guideline for the definition of aquatic centres in Victoria, Australia for the purpose of energy and water benchmarking.
2. Benchmark the energy and water consumption of aquatic centres by analysing the data collected from existing aquatic centres.
3. To investigate operational and building design features that will improve the energy and water performance of a sample aquatic centre by using building performance simulation.

Modelling and energy analysis of the aquatic centre

Scope
This project involved a lot of sorting out as the council were not sure about how the centre performed. Modelling and analysis of this data highlighted what could be expected when the building was upgraded and what should be tackled first.

Modelling and energy analysis of the aquatic centre
Client
Southern Grampians Shire Council
Scope
As a first step in determining the energy consumption of this aquatic centre, energy modelling was completed to provide a baseline for what could be expected with any upgrades completed.
